- Reviewed the RAFT strategy notes and organizer
- Introduced the Format and Topic sections of the RAFT organizer. F is for
format – argumentative essay; wrote it on the graphic organizer in the format
box. T is for Topic: students should ask themselves, “What am I writing about?
Showed how that related to the FSA-ELA essay, for example focusing on the
correct topic for the essay. - Specifically broke down the format of an introduction, which we have studied
in the past, as well as the entire argumentative essay structure.
